A lighter way of seeing things
I’ve been on a journey for some time now but I’m finally starting to see the light. Turning 30 this past year changed
a lot in my life physically, emotionally and mentally. All of the sudden my knees hurt a little more after working out, I’ve become a true “early to bed, early to rise” person, I’m happy and confident with my body and actually find myself quite sexy but more importantly I see and experience my yoga practice differently.
My practice has transitioned from a body resistant workout to a mental and emotional experience. My prayna is filled with purpose and passion where it was previously overwhelmed with doubt and anxiety. I finally realize the true impact stress has on my practice, my spirit and my entire world. Stress often causes me to make rash decisions based on addressing my immediate needs. Apparently, with age and experience comes wisdom and with wisdom brings about enlightenment. Who knew. :o/
Regardless, I’ve found I recently have a lighter way of seeing things and a lighter way of breathing through stress. I try to take my new found prayna with me to work, to social events, when traveling or wherever I need a reminder of my purpose and passion. Once you’ve found the light your path will always be golden.
